Spanking Review

The site is huge, with over 18 pages of spanking films, each page holding between 7 and 22 complete spanking films. Each film is available for download as a complete RealMedia film (typically 13-60 Mb, approximately 400×300 pixels, 4-20 minutes duration for the earlier movies, 460×365 pixels for the last RM movie) or as a part film comprising about 10 clips. The image quality is very good.

Some of the earlier galleries appear to have incomplete links to the part work clips but the full film downloaded correctly. The latest 10 or so movies are now in WMV format (500×400 pixels encoded at 1028 kb/sec) which is a big improvement in quality, though some spanking sites are now offering 720×578 pixels full frame videos – leaving room for another step up in film quality from GBS in the future?

I am no longer sure that providing part works is the way for a site to go. I know it allows a site owner to feed a complete film in over a period of up to 2-3 weeks but, in these times of instant gratification and broadband connections at 8 Mb/sec, I think part works have just about run their course.

Girls Boarding School advertise on their front page “Get ready for over 2,500 spanking movie files, including multiple part movies, full downloads and 30,000 of high quality spanking photos and 20,000 video captures, all 100% EXCLUSIVE!” (their bold characters). This may be factually correct but in reality there are only (only!) about 250 full movies, and 10 times that amount of short clips made from chopping those movies up.

If I was GBS, I would suggest that they just say “We have 250 full spanking movies” ….. they still would be one of the largest spanking sites in the world and without the hype would be seen as more ‘honest’ than some of their rivals! The reduction in man hours alone in preparing the part works would probably more than compensate for the loss of a few dial-up customers and reduce server space.

That aside, the films I have downloaded and forced myself to watch (it is a hard life … sometimes literally… sometimes hourly, but someone has to do it!) are good … in fact very good. The girls are absolutely gorgeous, their bottoms divine canvasses to be painted on and the pain reactions and blazing red skin are very authentic … probably because it hurt … the lead spanker pulls no punches!

And that leads to one of my minor criticisms. The main spanker is German. Now, I don’t have a problem with that particular gentleman, Germany or its people and I love visiting that country, but it is just that I see schoolgirl spanking primarily as a very British fantasy, Le Vice Anglais so to speak. The spanker speaks in English but to this British ear his accent starts to grate after seeing 20–30 films. He can’t change his accent so I turn the sound down and watch the action! In some later films the spanker is a gentleman with a heavy accent from the Emerald Isles. It seems GBS do not have a true Englishman on their staff. I wonder if I should apply?
