Spanking Review

The acting in the movies is consistent with good ‘amateur dramatics’ production standards. I am not being derogatory about this because I know of only one classically trained actress in the spanking film scene. The settings and costumes and dialogue show care in the preparation and the producers are to be commended for producing a believable prison-like atmosphere. The Matron is recognised as that stalwart of the UK spanking scene Lucy McLean and the producers appear to have taken effort to ensure that each actor/actress stays within one role. i.e. you won’t find the Matron being spanked in another film on the site or an inmate acting as Governess in another. This makes for a Cell Block H type atmosphere which works very well.

The scenes are well presented and adequately lit, but the sound is not of a very good quality. I suspect that on-camera mikes have been used and, in the acoustically hard and ‘live’ interiors used, the sound is very brittle with accentuated high frequencies. Of more importance, the sound levels are uneven between consecutive scenes. In some it is loud enough, in others I am having difficulty hearing the conversations. This was common to several films.

The action portrayed is varied and entertaining with scenes of spanking, strapping etc. as well, in one series, intimate cavity searches of Leia Ann by the Matron …. you never saw that in close-up on Cell Block H!

Technical quality and image size aside, the films have a good production quality and are of a form of punishment video not often seen. The stereotypes of schoolgirls and cheerleaders has been broken by this site and it is to be fully commended for that.

There are probably 100 videos clips (I include part movies in this count) and 80 photo sets on this site but they appear a lot more because they are used to illustrate more than one girl’s ‘portfolio’ and also are collated under such categories as ‘The Governor’s Office” etc. This made it harder to count the actual number of videos and photosets so please forgive the estimate I have made here.

I came across a couple of incorrect links on the site. Leia-Ann Woods has parts 1 and 3 of her intimate body search movie on he portfolio, but not part 2. This will need correcting as part one finished just at a really interesting bit!
Overall, Bars and Stripes has made a good start and is producing some unique spanking content. There are some technical problems they need to address re sound, server speeds, photo gallery software etc. and downloads but it is a site I am going to recommend you join solely for the pleasure of seeing most of the UK’s finest spanking models being dealt with on a single site. A finer collection of spankable female flesh you will not find.
